Hey everyone
I'm a 40-year-old woman living in the US. My goals are to drop a significant amount of weight and generally take better care of my health as I age.
After going through an extremely difficult stretch, I gained a great deal of weight because of depression and worsening physical health. On top of that, I have Autism/ADHD, which made everything harder since I struggle with communication and sensing what's going on in my body.
I decided to give Tirz a try, and I'm currently in my 3rd week. During my first week I had a harsh "crash," which got me wondering about dosages and half-lifes, peaks and troughs, and so on. I began digging into topics on Reddit, but I kept running into limits on certain discussions (completely understandable), until I came across this place.
Really, I'm just here to learn and possibly meet some folks; I've been a shut-in for the last few years since my husband passed away.
I'm a big animal lover (cats and shrimp are my favorites), and I enjoy reading (both fiction and nonfiction), research (science/technology/history/culture), horror movies (Indonesian ones are my favorite), and monsters (the creepy and strange kind).
I hope this post is fine and not too long. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and learning a ton. Thanks, everyone.
