Hi everyone! I’m glad to be here.
I’m currently using retatrutide, started at 0.5 mg per week and have gradually worked my way up to 4 mg per week. My experience has been positive so far, but I’m also trying to make sure I approach this intelligently. I’ve increased my protein intake, added resistance training, and started paying closer attention to body composition instead of focusing only on the number on the scale.
I joined because I’d like to learn from people with real-world GLP-1 experience, especially about managing side effects, breaking through plateaus, maintaining muscle, and eventually transitioning into long-term maintenance. I’m also interested in hearing what has—and hasn’t—worked for others.
I have a scientific background, so I tend to ask a lot of questions and look closely at the data, but I also know that personal experience can teach you things that studies and charts don’t always capture. I’m looking forward to learning from the community and contributing where I can.
