Greetings from Bonnie Scotland.

For 20 months now, I've been using Retail Mounjaro. Around September of last year I hit my goal weight, and I've kept it there ever since. Tapering was something I attempted, but food noise kept nagging at me like a devil on my shoulder. So I've stayed on 7.5, which was my highest dose anyway.

What brings me here? ... mainly the cost, plus the sense that I'll need to stay on T for a while and that it might eventually stop working as well. I'd like to be prepared for that.

I'll be honest, a lot of this is quite confusing to me, but everyone here seems willing to help. So, many thanks ahead of time. Jazz

Welcome aboard! Nice work hitting your goal. My partner spent a few months on retail, but the price is huge — way beyond what the two of us could manage. Reta has worked out better for her. I can't judge it against anything else, yet so far it's been a solid beginning. We're just about to put in our initial order through a vendor, which brings the cost down to roughly a tenth of what a reseller charged us.

Thanks — retail suited me fine, but the pricing has become absurd, particularly once the forced increases kicked in. My plan is to keep using tirz for as long as it keeps the food noise at bay, then take another look at where I stand.

Things went really well right from the beginning, and I only had to step up after spending a few months on each of the lower doses. It's hard to put into words how good it feels to hold a weight I'm happy with. The main reason was health, but honestly the perks are endless. Best of luck with your first order.. I've just put mine in too. 🤞

Hoping things work out for you as well. When the topic of maintaining came up with friends, the general assumption among most of them was that once they hit some target number on the scale, they'd simply quit. A few went that route and the pounds came back, so my own plan is to reach my target and then remain on a small dose more or less indefinitely.

Greetings from England — absolutely, it can be. You'll find loads of information on here.

Yeah, keeping the weight off is a factor you have to think about. MJ taught me quite a bit about who I am. My diet was always healthy, yet I blamed my weight on emotional eating — these days I see that for what it is, food noise, at least in my case. MJ removes it, so looking ahead, staying on the shot seems like the only option to me. 😊

Research focused on maintenance is still lacking. Fingers crossed that changes down the line.
