Hello everyone. I've been my wife's lab researcher for a couple years now. Working together, we have taken her from 5' 9" and 250 pounds at her heaviest, to her current 167 pounds. She started evaluating semaglutide and was too sensitive to it. Mostly stomach cramps, gas. Switched to sniffing terzepitide and that was better in regard to the cramps, but she still had to be more careful than she cared for...being a southern bell with "traditional" foods. She got the dreaded "sulfur burps" too easily on tirz. She DID see a nice start to her weight loss on both of these peptides, but I kept looking for a better alternative. I eventually discovered retatrutide and she has been on it since about a year ago. Much smoother ride overall with nowhere near the 'care' required when eating. Don't get me wrong, she still watches what she eats, and stops when she's full. I have gotten very used to us sharing meals when we eat out. In fact, we rarely get an "appetizer" and I often just skip ordering for myself, because I'm finishing what she orders and some of what my picky 13 year old orders. So, her being the one on a GLP has been a side benefit to me as well.
