Hi everybody!

I'm 60, Catalan, and I live in the area around Barcelona — joining this community makes me really happy.

My GLP-1 story started roughly a couple of years back with Ozempic. It did give me a solid push at the beginning, yet sooner or later I ran into a stubborn plateau where the scales simply refused to budge any further. The turning point arrived not long ago, during a professional academic stay in Brazil; I saw a local endocrinologist there who switched me over to Tirzepatide, and honestly speaking, it has been an absolute game-changer!

All of the excess weight is now gone, and after a lifelong struggle with the scales and countless failed diets I have finally reached my ideal weight. At this point I want to begin tapering my dosage down.

The appetite suppression has been genuinely astonishing—there are days when a single meal leaves me feeling completely satiated. But the most wonderful collateral effect has been on my overall health. For a long time I had suffered from a fatty liver, yet my latest blood tests confirm that the fat has completely cleared! Honestly, I haven't felt this well in years. It truly is remarkable how science and these modern medicines can so drastically improve our quality of life.

With my weight now sorted, I'm very keen to delve into the wider world of peptides. That said, the sheer number of options available has left me thoroughly overwhelmed! I also have to admit that serious doubts remain for me about whether many of them actually deliver on their promises. On that front, I'm really hoping to lean on the collective wisdom and experience of this forum for guidance.

I'm looking forward to learning from all of you and to sharing my own experiences.

Cheers!

Welcome aboard! I'm 60 as well, and last summer I visited Barcelona on 2 occasions. Your take on tirzepatide matches mine — it affects me the same way. There's still a distance for me to cover, yet because of it I feel sure enough to claim I'll definitely make it.

I'm also exploring other peptides, and just like everyone else, I've got plenty of questions regarding how well they work. Let's hope we can come to an agreement more quickly than the clinical trials manage.

Happy to have you here, keep pushing ahead!
