New to this research hobby. Age: 51. Height: 6'1". Weight: 320 lbs. Still quite muscular, but clearly far too large. Used to be a college athlete, then quit serious exercise abruptly once college ended (big knee injury), though the heavy eating continued. Where I am now is just the result of a gradual slide over 30 years. A realization pushed me to start eating properly and working out, and to look into current research about weight loss and health aids. After a friend suggested it, I recently began the newest weight loss stuff and have done a huge amount of "research" (googling and youtubing, if that counts), but I've tried my best to learn. That revealed an entire new world of possible research that had been unknown to me before.
My hope is that what's here will stop me from repeating errors others have already made. I'd also be very — I would be interested (later on — I did read the rules, lol) in group testing and responses. I think it would be really cool if our research were actually documented more carefully and logged in larger numbers. A bit more scientific, so to speak, and actually adding to the knowledge base on our subject.
So, that's me. See you on the forums eventually.
