How is everyone doing? This introduction is so wonderful because the opportunity to connect and share with you all is something I get, about something I've struggled with for a long time, until I encountered GLPs.

Easy to put on and hard to take off is what weight was for as long as I can remember. Only in my senior year in high school did I lose a ton of weight and say I can do this. College came next and then while my weight fluctuated, I was able to maintain a good weight. Then the work life arrived......A decent weight was still being maintained in my 20s but once my children were born, it slowly crept up, almost to the mid 300s. BTW, I'm 6'5". The point arrived where I stopped stepping on the scale....

Then my health scare turned up. HbA1c levels bad, high cholesterol, you name it and I had it and was advised I need to lose weight or else I'm going to be in trouble. Heed was taken to the doctor's advice and everything imaginable got done. Exercise would happen (yea 8-mile walks in FL humidity), dieting, etc. Nothing worked until I heard about GLP-1 medication. Prescribed semuglatide was what I got in March of 2024 and wow did it change my life. Progress with my walks and my diet was now happening. Between March of 24 and Oct 25 about 75 lbs came off. Normal range is where all numbers were again. Unfortunately, about 25 lbs. had come back, because the medication was simply beyond what I could afford. GLP came back into my life in May, and Zepbound was what I was on for about a month, but again, the medication was beyond what I could afford.

Hopefully the medication can be got back on to resume my progress. Saved my life is what these medications have done and I'm so excited to continue this journey with you all.
