Hi all!

A bit about me — my starting weight was 260 lbs, and I've gotten down to 203. That was all through natural means (watching what I ate, staying consistent, changing my lifestyle), but progress has stalled and I want to shed the remaining ~40 lbs.

So I've started researching whether adding peptides could help, particularly tirzepatide and retatrutide, to get past this sticking point. Someone I know also mentioned combining them with BPC-157 and KPV, though I'm still early in my learning and want to approach this carefully.

Worth noting: I've had insulin resistance before, which is why I'm drawn to options that address metabolic health alongside losing fat.

Beyond that, I'm trying to figure out how folks judge peptide quality and safety overall (purity, testing, where it comes from, and so on), so tips on what to seek out or steer clear of would be much appreciated.

Hoping to hear from people who've been through this — successes, failures, and lessons you'd want to pass on before someone starts. Thanks so much!

Nice work making it through a chunk of the journey solo! I've got a comparable background, and I'm also combining tirzepatide with retatrutide, taking low doses of each. Began on 2.5mg tirz for 4 weeks, after which I introduced 1mg Reta. Suppression has been excellent, energy is good, and neither has caused excessive side effects. I don't see myself needing to bump up the combo at any point soon. If anything, I might scale something down for a while.

Wishing you the best as you move through this stage!

Retatrutide alongside Tirzepatide can each support metabolic stability. Prediabeties will become something of the past for you.

My starting point was very overweight, and I managed some of it solo. Even so, Glp-1s change the game entirely. Goal weight has been reached. These days I'm a gym rat. Each week, my Maintenance dose is 1 mg tirzepatide plus 1 mg retatrutide. My blood glucose is amazingly great.

Tell us what kind of help you're after.

Before you moved to a reta tirz stack, what tirz dose were you maintaining on? I'm still fairly new to this, but I always like hearing how it's worked out for others.

While bringing my tirzepatide dose down, I was raising reta at the same time. Since side effects were never an issue for me, I could adjust a bit every week. That said... your mileage may vary.
