Hello everyone!

I’m a 42m living on the US west coast. Over the last year, Tirz has worked well for me. Right now I’m at 15mg. I’ve dropped roughly 70lbs, though there’s still a long road ahead. Shedding this initial amount has made a huge difference.

I’m eager to pick up more knowledge and listen to your success stories. Thanks for reading.

That's awesome progress! Do you have any advice about diet? I'm using reta, and eating feels like something I have to push myself to do. With lifting, I depend heavily on protein shakes just to reach my daily target.

Hi there! We're similar in both age and where we live (though that coastline is pretty huge, haha). Curious about your starting weight, but only if you're comfortable sharing. I've been on tirz for just a couple months, dropping roughly 1-1.5lb weekly. Still at 5mg. Wishing you all the best!

Thanks! I completely get what you mean about getting enough protein. I ended up doing 18:6 fasting without really planning it, and my eating window tends to be 12:00p-6:00p. My daily protein goal is 200g. Shakes are my go-to for keeping calories lower. My main concern is holding onto muscle, and I just let the scale do whatever it does.

Wow!! Well done on shedding those pounds!!!!!

How much total weight are you aiming to lose?
I really appreciate it! My goal is to drop 100 more lbs. Both of my knees are severely arthritic, and once I reach that point, I'd love to undergo replacement surgeries. I joined this community to find out how to safely switch over to Reta.

Thanks, and likewise! My starting weight was 470, and I'm down to 400 at this point. There's another 100 I want gone as quickly as I can manage. My knees are in rough shape and replacement is needed. The end target for me is 250. Because I'm tall and played football, I still carry a decent amount of muscle.

Welcome! My situation is comparable, though my weight loss has moved at a much slower pace. Generally speaking, once you began dropping weight, what did your weekly results look like? For me it's been roughly 1.5lb per week (more or less).

Welcome aboard. 70 lbs is a big deal — well done. Here's to continued progress as you work toward your target weight.

Hanging around this place will teach you loads!! The amount of information here is huge! There are even some peps aimed at injuries. Might be useful for your knees!

Best of luck dropping the next 100 pounds! You've got this!

Nice work on the weight loss! I've been using tirz for roughly a year too (before that, I spent half a year on sema) and over that whole stretch I've dropped about 50 lbs. Keep going!

That's great, man — you're going to make it. My wife has a knee replacement scheduled for next month, and that's something I'd rather avoid. It's just 1 of several reasons I've got to get this weight off.
