Hello everyone,
A 28 year old software developer based in the Netherlands, that's me.
For a few years now, slow and progressive weight gain has been something I've struggled with.
I made the decision last month to begin Mounjaro, and I'm currently in my third week of using it. It appears to have helped break my habits, which I'm grateful for. At the moment I'm still within the first month, using the lowest dose. My hope is that going above 5mg won't be necessary, so that tapering down can be done quickly.
My height is 184 cm / 6'0, starting weight was 93 kg / 205 lbs, and I'm now at 84.5 kg / 186 lbs. A large portion of that is waterweight due to the caloric deficit, obviously, but the direction seems right. As of yet I'm not very muscular, so the 75 kg / 167 lbs range is where my goal weight sits. That isn't set in stone, though.
My reasons for joining the forum are to familiarize myself more with the topic and peptides in general, to discuss with likeminded individuals, and perhaps to switch to either grey market Tirzepatide/Reta if the cost/safety benefit is worth it.
