Hi all. Biohacking has long been something I've dabbled in — out of necessity, really, given how the NHS keeps getting handed over to private companies and how hard and costly it is to get care through any other route. Disability problems have caused me to put on weight I'd rather not have, so I'm looking into Tirzepatide as a possible solution.

At first Retatrutide caught my attention, but after reading quietly around here, it looks like its side effects are either worse or show up more often than Tirz's — though that impression might just be skewed, since Tirz is simpler to obtain through legal channels. Semaglutide gave me a really rough time, and I don't want to roll those dice again and end up gaining even more weight if the side effects turn out to be unbearable or end up working against my weight loss.

Hello everyone, I'm writing from England. Moving from Tirzepatide over to Retatrutide was the smartest choice I've ever taken — the outcomes have been far superior.

My Tirz experience has been fantastic from the start - appetite dropped off nearly right away and I've had zero nausea. I went with split dosing at 2.5mg per week, then increased gradually, and everything went smoothly 🙂

Thanks, I can't wait to try it!

Sema and Tirz act on nausea through separate pathways, meaning a rough time on one doesn't guarantee the same on the other. Reta, though, works differently once more. Since Reta costs more, it's a matter of picking what suits each person. For my part, I'm holding Reta back in case Tirz stops doing enough for me, and perhaps for stacking, because Tirz gives me the quiet food noise I value and I wouldn't want to give that up by switching to Reta alone.

Has Reta been something you've actually used, or is it simply sitting in your stash?

I haven't started it yet — Tirz is still doing the job for me. I've dropped 25kg so far, with roughly 10kg left to lose, though things are tapering off a bit now.

Hearing that helps a lot, thanks! Past side effects have kept me from giving it another go, but I'm eager to weigh things up properly and decide before long.
