A few weeks of lurking the forum went by before registering, and I've finally decided to introduce myself.
GLP-1 topics entered my world through a family member who, about two years ago, began Ozempic for type 2 diabetes management. Watching them deal with the brand-shortage stretch, and with the question of what to do in a week the pharmacy had none, got me reading more about what was really going on in the supply chain and on the regulatory side. After that the reading wouldn't stop — the science is genuinely compelling, and the distance between what the trials show and what real users report is wider than I'd assumed.
The medical field isn't where I work and I'm not a clinician. Editorial / data work is the day job. So I'll mostly be the person reading and asking questions rather than offering advice.
