Hello! Admitting that googling for a GLP1Chat never happened when this journey started is almost embarrassing. Reddit supplied most of my information, then web searches backed it up.
About me, a late 40s female progressing through perimenopause. When it comes to hormonal support during these phases, the average care women receive is absolute hogwash. Proving a medical need for HRT has me on a VERY long road. These body composition changes are just rude. Weight hasn't significantly moved, but pants sizes went up by 6 in the last year?!?!
Looking into GLP1s is what I decided on. Unfortunately, with my personality, anything the easy way is a struggle. Starting a GLP1 means knowing every last little detail about them and deciding the best option for me. Unfortunately, that new cool med isn't quite there for the masses yet, which is what brought me along, much like the rest of the crowd.
