Hi everyone,
Starting this journey with y'all is genuinely exciting.
keto was my thing in 2017 to 2018 with awesome results, and 97 lbs came off before 2020 — then I decided that if the world was going to end, Twinkies every now and then were my entitlement. That kept going, covid hit in 2022, and not long after came the discovery that bread/gluten were off the menu. So at some point my digestion changed. 235 is where I sit right now, and getting back down to ~180-160 is the hope.
The last 6 months have been another go at keto, and even sticking under 50 net carbs per day hasn't budged my weight. My sister went on Ozempic not long ago, and her starting doses took about10 lbs off. That's when the research into glps began.
Not a miracle worker and definitely not a shortcut, I know — but the food noise getting cut out is what excites me most. My brain telling me I'm hungry, or that a certain food is "needed", is exhausting. (Carby/glutenous snacks are the kryptonite! Chocolate never stops nagging me!)
Plenty of reviews about different vendors, dosages and all sorts of stuff have been read on here, and starting on my Grey Reta when it arrives soon is really exciting. Now the pin supplies just have to be sorted before it gets here!
Any info, or first-time pointers, or what you wish you'd known before starting — actual people's experiences are what I love reading.
Thanks!
