Hi everyone! 27 years old, and PCOS has made my weight a constant struggle. Around 150 lbs was my highest, and no amount of working out or dieting would shift the weight. My body felt like it was working against me, which was really frustrating.

GLP-1 medication came into my life first as tirzepatide at 2.5 mg from a medical spa. About 25 pounds came off in a few months, which felt amazing and helped a great deal — arthritis is something else I deal with, and the weight loss eased some of my joint pain. Heartburn, constipation, and just feeling tired all the time were the downside.

retatrutide at 2.5 mg came later through a different medical spa, and honestly I liked it a lot more. The same GI side effects didn't show up, my energy was better, and I felt more like myself than on tirzepatide. But again, continuing was hard because of the cost.

Which is how I ended up here. More research has been happening, and learning from other people's experiences and being part of a supportive community was what I wanted. Something sustainable long-term for my health and weight is what I hope to find.

Connecting with everyone is something I look forward to
