My dad had a saying he repeated often: it's only air and opportunity! So just take the leap! Get going on Reta or Tirz, drop a few pounds, then sign up at a gym and put in an hour every day, 4-5 days per week, and simply show up. Our gym routine isn't anything fancy (2 upper days, 2 lower days, and 1 cardio day). Stay hydrated, skip buying soda, cut back on fried foods (Reta or tirz will push you toward that regardless). It's a fairly simple planGLPFrodo said:
GREAT GUY! I hope I can share similar progress when I hit my 1 year mark. Appreciate you posting this.

Peptides/GLP1s have only been part of my routine since July 2025. Standing 5'-8" and weighing 240 lbs, that was the heaviest point I had ever reached. I managed to get my hands on some name brand Terzepitide and stayed on it from July through January, dropping 51 lbs and landing at 186 lbs. The most I ever needed was 5mg/week, which turned out to be what my body required.
By November of last year, once I was around 35 lbs down, a new Planet Fitness had just opened nearby, so I began training 4-5 days a week and I still do. A few more lbs came off, but then the scale started climbing again as muscle went on. A little over a month ago I was back at 200 lbs. I understood some of that was muscle, yet I also realized my portions were creeping up again despite all the weight training and cardio.
After that, a conversation with a friend about other Peptides sent me down the Reta rabbit hole. I bought three 10mg vials and began at a low dose of 0.5 mg for 2 weeks, moved to 1 mg for 2 weeks, and I'm now at 1.5 mgs. My plan is to stay at this dose for as long as possible before increasing.
Already down 10 lbs! The mid section is leaner once more and abs are showing!!! Reta has me feeling amazing!
Naturally, I now have some Tesamorelin on the way to tackle some of the visceral fat and the remaining belly fat! Peptides really are a whole rabbit hole. I'm also eager to try some Klow to help with a few nagging injuries from lifting and from too many years coaching baseball and softball.
I have to say Terzepitide and Reta have been life saving for me. Physically, at 39 I'm in better shape than I was at 21 years old.
I had my tests done and year over year from 2025-2026, EVERYTHING is back in the normal, healthy range from Triglycerides, cholesterol, etc... I feel so much better and GLPs have also helped me to eat better and WANT to exercise more due to the progress I see. So much more than with just diet and exercise alone.
