Question aimed at folks on the US west coast. Has anyone here noticed their order being brought in through the east coast? It strikes me as strange that goods coming from China and headed for the western US would enter via the east coast. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

At times, that spot might simply serve as a customs inspection point, or the vendor may be aware that clearance there is guaranteed. In any case, your goods will arrive, so there's no need to stress.

Whoever handles shipping the product probably knows their stuff. My only concern is that it arrives—beyond that, it makes no difference to me.

What I discovered is that it varies by the shipping carrier. With DHL, the entry point is Cincinnati, while Fed ex and UPS typically route through Kentucky. Every one of my shipments has gone that way, and I'm based in AZ.
