Endotoxins

Before a couple weeks ago, the heads of a couple major labs had said that it isn't even worth testing for becsue they hadn't seen any major fails. That was pre-Jeep, so it has been at best rare. What we don't know is if Jeep was a fluke or if this is something that is now a problem.

Except we now know it wasn't just Jeep. Those light orange caps of T30 are in (or hopefully were) in several vendor's inventories. The good news is that not performing endo testing is yesterday's news, and many more endo tests are being done today. Several vendors now consider high endos a refundable situation, so some progress is being made.

this opens up a question for neophytes like myself. how rapid is the whisper network? do we know that these major labs had an eye on the Jeep case, or that other producers care?
