After an accident some time ago, I dealt with a mild traumatic brain injury, and my thinking has not returned to how it was before.

Since I cannot get Cerebrolysin where I am right now, I started researching Dihexa because of what people say about how it works with MET and how it may create new synapses while swapping out old ones. I would really like to hear from anyone who has used it, whether things went well or badly!

You may want to check out a thread I started not long ago. It has my attention, though there's a significant chance this peptide could drive cancer progression.

Because of that, I'm at a stage where I still need to collect a lot more information about it.

To Dihexa - or Not to Dihexa- that is the question - does anyone take it ?

Trying it is something I'd genuinely like to do. Reconstituting it is a hassle, I'm aware. I've come across claims that it's risky because it may awaken dormant cancer cells. At the same time, when it comes to generating new neurons, it's said to be outstanding - so I'm attempting to balance the benefits against the drawbacks. A few threads exist on the...

Appreciate you posting this! Great title 🙂 Dihexa really does appear to remain largely unexplored territory.

Indeed, though it remains quite intriguing... I'm not abandoning it... I just need to search for additional information.

Alright, I'm fully committed at this point. I've had 2 TBI's and over the past year or so my head has been leaking, so to speak. I dug through Dihexa threads hoping to find other people's input or stories. Not long ago I switched from Lions Mane over to Dihexa. When I stopped the Lions Mane there was a dip, and I gave it 4 weeks before beginning the Dihexa so there'd be a gap between the two. I'm just into week 3 now, using the oral form, and I bumped it up to 30mg a day. So far no problems with any of my medz, I realize that's a fairly aggressive dose, and I do miss the Lions Mane somewhat already. I'm aware the Lypholized version might work more better, but I've heard reconstitiuting it is funky, plus I've had these pills sitting around for 6 months. Nothing to report as of yet, but I'll hold this dose at least until Halloween and check back in then, that is if anybody's interested.

Met on its own won't generate new cancer cells, but when cancer cells are already present, it does help supply them with nutrients and encourages metastasis. Sadly, this is the flip side of the very same mechanism that builds neural synapses. There's no way to split the two apart.

That said, if this were a peptide with real breakthrough status and solid research behind it, and someone were dealing with TBI or early dementia and similar conditions, I'd say the risk might be justified for some people. The problem is that the research and data simply aren't there. Dig into it and you'll find there's very little in the way of phase I/II human trials worth getting excited about. Not worth it.

Hi everyone... I recently picked up some dihexa, but I'm unsure about the reconstitution process.... I've been reading about DMSO, though from what I gather it isn't suitable for injection.....

I know I'm bringing this up early, but Dihexa seems to be giving me some decent results. After 4 weeks, I feel like I'm back to where I was when I stopped the Mushrooms (Lions Mane). My starting dose was 20mg, and I'm now at 50mg daily, which from what I've read about dosing is fairly aggressive. I don't intend to go above this; my plan is 50mg every other day from here on, since I'm seeing results, and only through the end of the year before cycling off. At this dose it's a little pricy, but I almost don't care since memory-wise things come to me faster and the fog is lifting, so to speak.

I almost want to add some nasal Stank/Skimask mix to it, to see how that goes. I deliberately let myself run out of NAD+, just so I know whether it's twerking ok or not. To stack or not to stack, that is the ?

I came across a claim that DMSO can work for reconstitution, but the method was to start with a small quantity of DMSO and then add more bac water to dilute it, since it stings. Before you go that route, though, check it for yourself — I don't truly grasp what DMSO even is, and I'm just a stranger on the internet.
