Heya, lately I've been noticing more and more people hating on blends. I use Klow, simply because it's convenient. Are there any big downsides to this? My only complaint so far is that you can't dose each peptide separately, so I end up with a bit too much ghk.

But then I come across articles like this https://ninjathlete.com/en-ca/blogs/article/why-glow-and-klow-peptide-blends-are-dead-on-arrival which make me wonder if I should just put in the extra effort…

What's your take?

Hey there, I began with a blend, then moved over to individual. I figured a blend gave me no flexibility to tweak things when necessary. Going with individual lets me hit an exact dose of every pep.

What on earth is going on with that image? Right from the moment you land on the page, it's designed to put you in a negative frame of mind. On top of that, the same site points you toward a shop charging $74 for a single vial of BPC-157. The research may sound convincing, but I can't tell whether it actually holds up, and the whole page reads like a psychological setup to get you to buy.

If you're buying kits, my own take is to keep every peptide in its own vial. That way, if — or rather WHEN — that scorching, prickling sensation hits and you decide you're done with the combo, you'll still have the BPC and TB left to use however you like. Once those are gone, the GHK-CU can go into a cream and get smeared on your FACE.

BEST OF LUCK with the BURN !!!

GHK-CU stings only when the EYE of sauron catches you using it !!!!!

I purchase Glow and Klow as blends, but I also get chk cu and kpv on their own so I can use them independently. At certain points I'll take only chk cu alongside kpv, or ghk cu by itself.

Basically, there's no way to run a purity check on KLOW. That means a supplier sitting on a failed QC result for any 1 of the 4 ingredients could just toss it into a blend and laugh — because now your community testing can't catch it.

For that reason above all, if I were starting fresh, I'd simply have purchased the separate pieces.

I began with GLOW, then made the switch to KLOW, and after that I plan to stop using it in favor of a blend containing only KPV and GHK-cu, dropping BPC and TB because those two aren't meant for extended use. Whether I'll stay on a blend or switch to taking them separately is something I haven't settled on yet. I need to review dosing regimens and figure out what suits me best.

The skin on my cheeks is often red, which is why I use KPV, and I have to say it appears to be helping already. It's possible I'll simply keep using the blend of those two rather than change something that's working. This strikes me as one of those cases where results differ from person to person.

I chose to split them rather than use a blend. A few reasons behind that:

Managing the dose is likely the main factor. My GHK started at a low amount and I worked it up, yet that stuff still stings every now and then. This was especially true when I figured I was clever cramming my 100mg dose into 1 3ml pen vial. Ouch, it burns.

The other factor is being able to stop specific peps if I want to. Or bring them back in when needed. Take BPC: I don't intend to use it nonstop, only to aid recovery from an injury. There's no reason to keep it going all the time, and the ideas about it maybe being a risk worry me.

KPV is one I only got recently and am currently testing.

Yeah--I've started to think that when any of the 4 components tests under 98% purity, most manufacturers likely just don't care and toss it into a KLOW batch. That goes for other blends too.

A chromate test does not establish purity

To be completely honest, no chance I'm sitting through a guy rambling for 16 minutes on any subject unless it's carpentry, but if the summary you're giving is "Chromate is fine with it, only Jano refuses," then I'm happy to have been wrong.

BEST OF LUCK with the BURN !!!

GHK-CU stings only when the EYE of sauron catches you using it !!!!!
Wait, for use on the face and scalp, wouldn't the powder have to be "cosmetic grade"? Not sure what that actually refers to.

Cosmetic grade normally comes in gram-sized vials rather than milligram amounts, and the price is far lower—about $10 per gram versus $50 per 500mg—even though it often originates from the same suppliers. Purity and cleanliness tend to be inferior, but refrigeration is fine, and you can mix 1 or 2 grams into your preferred body cream at 2-4% or into a hyaluronic acid face serum at typically 1-2%; a batch like that likely remains usable for roughly a month. Subcutaneous use is not appropriate!

What I was getting at is that purity testing is offered by certain labs!!

If you're injecting and the sting is too much, A. you could combine it into a face cream or similar and apply a tiny mixed dab to your skin to check for any reaction. B. you could toss every one of the ghk-cu kits straight into the garbage. C. you could hand it over to your mother in law as a present and describe ALL the amazing benefits it will provide for her skin when injected.

It's true that GHK-cu doesn't become cosmetic grade simply because you apply it topically. "Grade" is about the way the supplier produced, tested, and certified it. But I'm 127% certain that all the things I source from the China gray market are completely fine and manufactured under world class safety standards, with the appropriate COA's to back it up. he he he
