Hello everyone. Shanny here, writing from Argentina. I'm 19 and being overweight is something I've dealt with my whole life. 2023 was my worst point, when the scale read 117.5 kg; a nutritionist helped me get down to 93 kg across 3-4 months. Keeping the drop going after that was hard, and since then I've been sitting somewhere between 95-98 kg (though honestly, real effort towards it may not have been made once that first drop happened). Last year I tried semaglutide when the local laboratory version (Dutide) came out. A couple of months plus were spent at 1 mg once I reached that dose, then I moved to 1.7 mg when the weight-loss version with the higher doses arrived (Obetide). I liked it, but making more of an effort — proper diet and all — is probably what I should have done, even though more than 3-4 kg did come off over those months, I believe.

Trying something stronger interests me now, and getting it for far less money interests me just as much; the vendor prices around here look quite compelling. Cheap as the Argentinian semaglutide was compared to Ozempic/Wegovy, it still ran close to the equivalent of 190 USD per month at the 2.4 mg dose.

Learning even more about these drugs, and about how they might finally free someone from the struggle so many of us have with food, is what I'm keen on. Looking forward to talking to all of you.
