Are vendors willing to negotiate prices on individual buys?

If I'm buying 10+ kits, I ask if there is some room for discounts. Usually there is. If not, I move on.

I gave it a try, and he said he doesn't give away individual vials; I said I’d pay for one, but he said it’s kits only.
 
I dont negotiate but I always ask:

"Do you have any ongoing promotions"

In case I missed something. Sometimes they're also willing to extend promotions that just ended.
 
One of the other members here, Calm Logic, showed me a post on Peppy's from two months ago where a vendor had accidentally sent a prospective buyer a list of the wholesale prices the vendor pays. The prices were astoundingly low. These were those prices for Terz and Reta.

If those prices are legitimate, most of us are paying 15 to 20 x the vendor price. And vendors have lot of latitude to negotiate.
