oh let me just vent a minute. So, before I found you awesome people, I used a bigco for Tz with b6 that got held in shipping in a weather delay and arrived to my house at 88 degrees. I requested a replacement since over 87 is like, not good, supposedly, but they said, Nooooo, its stable, its good, its fine, its safe. It was a good deal to me ($79 for a 40MG vial)... again, I was new to this!! but, id read that yeah, tirz is pretty stable ... I threw it in the fridge, but it still didnt sit right with me.. so I asked, hey, would u let me REORDER because it was a pretty sweet deal and my daughter also wanted to get back on it (and I figured Id give it to her (since I will be making my own experiments) So, I paid to reorder.. SPECIFICALLY requesting that they mail it out during the week, so it doesn't get trapped in transit and well, they created the label Thursday, and since then, its sat in warehouses in Florida(thurs), Tennessee(friday) and NJ since Saturday. It will arrive tomorrow. I KNOW it will have been in temps WAY beyond what is ok and the gel packs (they dont even use a cooler) will be warm.
I wrote today to say, no, you have two options here, resend me two replacements, because this is obviously now a systemic issue, not a one off, or refund my card. They said, No, its fine if it reaches 105 for a few days.. and I came back with the most science sounding letter, telling them that unless they can show me THIER PHARMACIES specific test data on the safety of their COMPOUNDED TZ with B6, I will not accept a blanket statement. So, we are talking $180.00.. I told them I will be writing to the FDA MedWatch, and FL and NJ pharmacy boards regarding violations of USP 1079- good storage and shipping practices, I also asked for a study that shows the alteration of thermodynamics via coformulation with pyridoxine (B6) , asserting that introduction of B6 into a sterile peptide solution inherently alters the formulations total ionic strength, ph Balance and molecular environment. I told them stability data from pure terzepitide can't be used as a blanket statement re temperature controls and told them that Pyridoxine at temperatures >88 degrees acts as a thermodynamic catalyst and accelerates degradation pathways. All of this from researching myself and a little help from AI, but I really hope they will reissue or refund. I HATE feeling ripped off.
I said that if the pharmacy doesnt possess lot specific empirical data validating their claims, the safety of the medication cannot be guaranteed and I asked them to provide their research, stability reports, and catch COA for my clinical review.
Hahahahah, did I go overboard?? But seriously, should I just fight this with my CC company, or do you reckon they will cave and just resend the meds... and before you ask why do I care, I have a lifetime supply... 1) principle and 2) I wanted to share with my daughter who also has an Rx.
