Hey everyone! Joining this community has me really pumped, and I’ve been enjoying reading through all of your journeys and experiences! This week marks my start on Retatrutide, and I’m eager to find out where this road leads. Some background: I’m a male, 6 feet tall, and my weight is sitting at roughly 280lbs. Right now I’m around 29-30% body fat, and I’m fully dedicated to melting the fat away. Bodybuilding has been part of my life for about 8 years, and I’ve built a solid physique. My only problem is that my body fat keeps cycling up and down, because I can’t maintain a calorie deficit beyond 3 months. Last year I got down to 22% body fat, but after the holidays I rebounded right back to the same weight. I’m really excited to see what Reta brings for me, and I can’t wait to see how my lean physique looks below 18%. Wishing everyone a fantastic weight loss journey!

Welcome aboard — I stand 6-1 and once tipped the scales at the very same number. Since then I've dropped more than 30kgs. With reta on board, holding a calorie deficit becomes far less of a battle, and those ups and downs on the scale ought to settle down as well.

I began at roughly 270 and have dropped 42 lbs over 11 weeks. What I did was follow the trial protocol, with one tweak: for the first 2 weeks I divided the 2mg dose into 1mg taken twice weekly, so I could see how I responded, after which I switched to 2mg per week. A key takeaway for me is that no two people are alike and how you respond varies a lot from person to person. For some, 2mg means days of bathroom trips; for others it's "meh, I'm good". Go slow with titration, since it takes 4 weeks for therapeutic levels to build up in your system. If you want to compare, this site lets you chart your GLP1 levels and simulate your intended titration plan: https://glp1plotter.com/ Just sharing my experience. Good luck on your journey.
