3d printer

Which filament does everyone like best? Sure, bambu would prefer I purchase their brand of filament, but it costs quite a bit. I do have a solid single-use discount code available. I've been using insignia from best buy. It's performing well, though the in-store color selection isn't very broad. Planning to place an order for 15-20 rolls this weekend.

My main filament brands are Elegoo, Sunlu, and Creality. Each offers a wide range of colors, and so far these filaments have worked well in my experience.

I'm pretty sure it was sunlu that came in? My wife handled all the ordering, so I'll have to dig into the details myself.

Even though plenty of long-time users have complaints about Bambu Labs, when it comes to getting great results straight out of the box, it remains among the top options.

My take: get the X2D with AMS, along with 2X .06 high flow hot ends and a 4 pack of PLA +, then begin producing cool stuff. The enclosure matters once you move on to gaseous materials and filaments that need temperature control.

Spending under $1,000 gets you one of the best setups for making whatever you want.

If you'd rather not pay Bambu prices, Amazon carries lots of choices for filaments and hot ends.

So I have been wanting to get a 3d printer for awhile. But know absolutely nothing about them. Kind of want a printer where I can print just about anything I want to in the future as far as material wise. Any recommendations? I do not need a top of the line printer but wanting something half way decent. One printer that was recommended to me was the Bambu lab p1s combo. Is that any good? Looking to spend between $400-$600. Any help is appreciated!
