Yo what’s good
I’m 20, 5’9, around 170 right now. Working out has been happening since freshman year of high school, but my weight has been ALL over the place.
200+ was the high school number, down to like 180 came next, then stuck there forever. After graduation a job started where somehow like 50–60k steps a day was happening
and college started around the same time, so the weight started falling off.
Eventually MyFitnessPal came into it and calories/macros actually got tracked instead of just guessed. Down to like 140–150 is where it ended up, but looking back the cut was definitely way too hard lol. Luckily much loose skin didn’t really end up happening.
Then of course the logical thing got done and the bulk went all the way back up to like 180–190
Now the cut is on again and being a little smarter about it this time is the aim. GLP-1s, peptides, nutrition, training, all that nerdy stuff is what I’ve been learning more about because ngl once something gets interesting the rabbit holes start.
Right now around 170 is where I am and the cut is probably gonna go somewhere into the 160–170 range depending on how I look, then an actual slow lean bulk instead of accidentally becoming a unit again is what I wanna do.
Training-wise upper/lower is mainly what I’ve been doing. Some weird imbalances are also what I’m trying to figure out. One shoulder feels weaker and looks more tilted than the other, and one side of my pelvis/hips sitting lower is how it feels too. Half the time it’s “yeah something is definitely uneven” and the other half the mirror has just been stared at for too long
So yeah, learning more about GLP-1s, training, nutrition, cutting properly is mostly why I’m here, and hopefully figuring out what’s going on with my physique without convincing myself I’m shaped like a question mark.
Glad to be here though. Learning from y’all is what I’m looking forward to, and hopefully helping other people too once I know what I’m talking about
