Hello everyone! At the end of June it'll be 2 years on GLPs for me. Sema came first, taken up to the max dose, then over to tirz. 75lbs has come off successfully! All of it through telehealth, because insurance here in the US doesn't cover weight loss. Absolutely life changing. The goal isn't reached yet though.
Whether I'd be called a slow responder, I can't say. 50lbs came off in year one, 25 in year two. Side effects: none at all. Right now I'm on 12.5mg, though last summer I rode the 15mg wave for about 6 months.
Food habits are in a good place and I train regularly. The new muscles are visible, but I'm really looking forward to shedding the fat layer hiding them.
47 y/o female, on HRT for perimenopause. That doesn't appear to have touched my weight journey either way. There's a 6 year old and an almost 5 year old in my house. An old mom I may be, but I'm not acting like one, however tired I feel!
Hoping to learn a lot here and to get to the next level for myself, whether that means Reta or stacking something alongside my beloved tirz.
