Hi all! I'm a 43-year-old guy living in North Carolina. Staying active has always been part of my routine — I work out consistently and do my best to keep myself in reasonable shape. My eating habits, though, are an entirely different matter.

My weight has been climbing gradually but consistently for the past 10 years. Being active used to be enough to compensate, but I've hit the point where my food choices can't be outweighed by exercise alone. Add in a recent injury that has limited my activity, plus the busy reality of family life and coordinating the kids' schedules, and the diet-exercise balance I once maintained has largely fallen apart.

My career is beginning to feel the effects too, which has served as a real wake-up call. I recognize that I need to make changes that last, and I'm looking into GLP-1 medications as a potential tool to help me get things back on track.

I'm joining to learn from what others have been through, understand what works and what doesn't, and hopefully achieve some genuine, lasting progress.

Glad to be here and excited to be part of the community!

Congrats on your wake-up call. A lot of us have been in that same spot and concluded that GLP-1s are part of the solution. Best of luck!
