I'm new to this community and my first order just went in, so I'm trying to figure out a good way to keep everything sorted. I've noticed folks mention the NIIMBOT M2 for labeling vials, and I'm fairly tempted to pick one up.

If you already own one, do you have any advice or things worth knowing before I buy? For vial labels and everyday organizing, would you go with the M2 or a different model?

I keep it simple since nobody else looks at them but me. My advice is to label the caps as well. When you have a ton of them stored in cases like I do, labeling the caps lets you tell what each one is at a glance rather than taking vials out to read the labels. I put a label on the vial too. You'll want the Niimbot D110, and order the labels straight from Niimbot.

Same situation here — I only use the basic D110, which occasionally sells for about $20 on AMZ. On each vial I write the source, the pep and mg, and the month I bought it, for example "Uther KPV 30mg, purchase 10/2026." The cap top then just says "UTH KPV". My cases are the Krypthos brand from AMZ, and since the vials sit fully submerged with only the caps showing, that cap tag is critical.

I do see and admire the advanced labeling some folks do (search here, there's lots of examples), but I don't need all that — keep it simple.

I use the D110 too. I label the vial caps, and I also make some labels for the vials themselves. Even though it's a small, inexpensive printer, it can turn out decent designs. Tiny text tends to be difficult to read, so simplicity is key.

For labeling my vials, the Niimbot M2 is my go-to, and the 40×20 mm size fits vials really well! I own the D110 as well. Given how affordable it is, it's a solid option to try when you're starting out. My own preference leans toward the M2: bigger labels leave me more space for details, and since it prints by thermal transfer, it may hold up better in cold storage — that depends on which label material you use.

I've just signed up and I'm wondering about the labels on the vials. Are these all intended for the D110 as well, or is one of them a B1/M2 for a wider formal?

That does look really handy. The Niimbot D110 also looks like a good choice.🥰

A small point to add to the above: when you make labels, take the mg from the COA rather than what the order form said it was expected to be.
