Hello everyone — I just joined the forum, though GLP-1s and peptides aren't completely new to me.

My experience with GLPs goes back to 2019, and these days I'm especially drawn to the research side of the peptide community.

I'm eager to pick up knowledge from members who've been at this longer than me, to pass along whatever I learn as I go, and hopefully to add something worthwhile to some good conversations.

One thing I didn't expect: signing up for a peptide forum feels a lot like going through security clearance. 😂

This forum places so many limits on new users because a lot of scammers and undercover vendors were trying to push their products on others. So I figure the rules simply make things harder for them, since they'd need a LOT of patience and would have to spend so much time working their way into the forum just to scam people lol

Anyway, enjoy exploring your interests here! I know I have, based on what I've come across in this forum so far!

Omg 😳 that really explains a lot! TYSM for breaking it down! I'd meant my first post to be slightly cheeky, but now that I understand why the limits exist, they feel a bit reassuring. Finding this community took me some time, and I'm honestly just glad I ended up here! 😊

At first the security clearance felt the same to me 😂, but honestly I've come to appreciate it. Once I started using other platforms where information isn't moderated, it didn't take long to see how much misinformation and how many scams are floating around. This really is somewhere you can find solid knowledge, and it looks like people do get checked when they step out of line, which I love. I'm so glad this exists for all of us who are looking for legitimate info.
