Hello all! It's great to be part of this!
I'm a 39-year-old man, married with 2 kids, and I work as a gym manager. Fitness and lifting weights have long been things I love, though that doesn't mean weight management hasn't been a battle for me too.
At my heaviest, the scale read 350 lbs. By putting in hard work, training, and adjusting my habits, I got down to 268 lbs before I began retatrutide. From that point on, the progress kept coming, and these days I'm sitting at about 210 lbs. That works out to a total drop of roughly 140 lbs!
Reaching somewhere in the 180–190 lbs range, based on how my body composition looks, is my ultimate goal. A number on the scale isn't the only thing I'm after. Keeping as much muscle as I can, getting my overall health in a better place, and eventually shifting toward adding more muscle are what I want.
An even stronger interest in GLP-1 medications, peptides, and the science behind them has come out of my experience with retatrutide. Researching how things work has always been something I enjoy, particularly around fitness, recovery, and improving the body.
Learning more, swapping experiences, and connecting with people who share similar interests is why I joined this community. The science behind these compounds, long-term results, and holding onto muscle during major weight loss interest me especially.
There's always more to learn no matter how much experience you have — that's one thing this journey has taught me. Asking questions, doing my own research, and hearing different perspectives are things I enjoy.
Being part of the community, sharing what I've been through, and hopefully helping others along the way is something I'm looking forward to.
Glad to be here, and looking forward to learning from everyone!
