Hello!

I'm a 41-year-old female, and right now I'm taking 2mg/week of Reta along with KLOW. My Reta journey began at 0.5mg/week roughly 7 weeks back, and I've dropped close to 15 pounds since then. That might not sound like much, but side effects have been minimal for me and I'm already in good shape. My workouts are consistent and my diet is solid, yet there were a few pounds I just couldn't get rid of after my twins were born.

I'd welcome any thoughts on the two things I'm mainly wondering about:

1) When I hit my goal weight (should be within a few weeks), is the right move to taper the Reta down and then stop it entirely? Or are there metabolic/health perks that make staying on very low doses worthwhile?

2) I also have narcolepsy (N1). I'm on medication and things have gone reasonably well overall. I've read that Reta gives some people an energy boost, but for me it clearly did the reverse. Once I taper down or come off Reta, does anyone have suggestions for handling general fatigue/brain fog?

I've come across a fair number of reports where Reta saps people's energy. In some cases it even had an impact on libido. Has Tirz ever been something you tried?

Once you reach your goal weight, do you figure your current habits will be enough to hold you there? Using a maintenance dose isn't a bad option at all. My own approach was to taper down and then quit once I got to my goal weight. Later, after I'd managed to add a bit of weight back for a recomp, I went back on.

Prepping meals ahead and logging what you eat should make a real difference as well 🤘🏼

Thanks for replying. I think maintenance is doable for me since my diet is good and I stay quite active. In fact, without the Reta I suspect I'll spend more time at the gym, given the lethargy and anhedonia I'm dealing with now.

One thing I'm curious about: instead of quitting entirely, would staying on a low dose (0.5mg/week, for example) keep giving me liver, metabolic and anti-inflammatory benefits?
