I’m 31F from Canada.
Finding this forum, and all the amazingly useful info people post here, made me really happy.
A few years back I tried white market Ozempic for weight loss and it didn’t work. All the doctor did was hand me a 1 year prescription for 0.5mg, with no increases and no follow-ups. For me that accomplished nothing except leaving me mildly nauseous and miserable the whole time.
When Tirzepatide reached the market I wondered if it might work better, but the ongoing price was too high, so I dropped that plan. After weight loss treatments got more popular, my benefits plan added exclusions for all of them, which left me fully responsible for the cost, and I simply couldn’t manage it.
By chance I came across some info on Retatrutide and that led me here. After spending some time reading, poking around, and weighing experiences and choices, I went ahead and ordered Reta plus some supplies, which I’m now waiting on. I’m still thinking about Tirz as another route, or maybe a combo later on. Fingers crossed I can begin by the end of this upcoming week!
I don’t think this will be a magic bullet. I know my life needs an overhaul and I need to make better choices. My hope is that one of these tools, or a combination, helps me reach my goals, feel at home in my own skin again, and maybe dodge a lifetime of pain and obesity complications before it’s too late.
Thanks to all of you who’ve shared what you know and what you’ve been through. I hope I’ll be able to post my own success story before long, even if there’s some trial and error along the way.
