I'm sure this topic has come up already—I looked! The problem is that every search term I try just ends up being some variation of "chunky," and I get zero hits.
Roughly 2-3 weeks back, I combined 82mg GHK-Cu with 74mg KPV (the amounts came from testing, one under-filled and one over-filled) into a pair of 3ml pen vials.
Since then I've been using one vial each day, and I've always at least given the vial a quick look without spotting anything wrong. This morning, out of nowhere, there were ENORMOUS chunks floating throughout it! I jerked back, but I was rushing to get to work and didn't give it another thought—I just grabbed the second vial. It was full of chunks as well!
Other vials from both of those kits, used in this exact same combination and setup, had never given me trouble before. One of the vials did come along with me and went through temperature swings, while the other stayed put.
The only explanation I can come up with is that I switched to a different bac water instead of my normal one—some random bottle from a reseller that I had to grab after leaving an essential pep behind on vacation. Could that bac water have had an unstable pH, which then shifted and threw things out of balance?
If anyone has any idea how this could have occurred, I'd really appreciate hearing it, so I can figure it out and stop it from happening again. For now, I've reconstituted another pair of vials using peps from the same kits plus a fresh bottle of Hospira. You can bet I'll be watching my pens like a hawk for a while.
