Are they all from the same place?

We all know peptides come from China or at least the raw material does. As far as the grey market from China that we have access to, are they all getting their product from the same place? I'm assuming that there are a few labs that create everything and then the various distributors all get their product from them. Can the cap colour be used to reliably assess if the product came from the same lab?
 
It's pretty much acknowledged that there are a small handful of actual producers. Three, four, five, depending on who you ask. I'm pretty sure ERP, JKL, WBS (and many more) all buy from the same supplier. This graphic by @5byfive breaks it down.

Everybody knows this, but as time goes by, the picture gets a little more clear.

This is fascinating. How do we know this? Is it based on the way things are packaged? Sorry if that seems like a stupid assumption just lost as to how this was compiled.

My assumption is that most vendors have fairly consistent supply chains. From a business point of view that makes sense; you want to offer a reliable, consistant product to protect your reputation. I would also imagine that there are some, likely smaller players, that are buying whatever, whenever from whoever they can get sometbing cheap from that might have something different every week.

They can pick colors for a production run but youd expect same stock for at least a month, not different colors every week. Check out all their weekly stock photos and you wont find a compound with the same color twice lol. Kinda petrifying honestly.....

This kind of reminds me of a bunch of people standing around at a party, discussing their favorite restaurants.

"I always got great food at Sally's, but it's no good anymore."

"My favorite is that Mexican place. They're always great."

"No, I ate there and it made me sick."

"I go to Alfred's. It cost more, but the food is always perfect."

"I would never go there. My friend at the health board says their kitchen is terrible."

All you can do is find one you like and stick with it. And if it goes south, find somewhere else to eat.

It's a fact of life. Great restaurants turn bad. And on occasion, bad ones turn great. Back and forth. We're just trying to figure out who buys their meat and vegetables from the same place.

Collective Dunning-Kruger effect? Maybe.

Count me in!

I'm just glad I have enough stock and I won't be buying more anytime soon. (Everyone says that, right?)

Any idea what the purpose of the symposium was? Are the attendees legit peptide companies or companies that supply the grey market?

I love how they use this esoteric images like they are some kinda sacred keepers of knowledge when they are just shady drug dealres lmaooo

Click the link to the CPS 2026 site to see the schedule of presentations. This symposium is to showcase biomedical, biochemical, and pharmaceutical researchers at the peak of their careers at highly prestigious universities. Pretty high level stuff! Hopefully a few of them can help cure cancer or gene edit corn and wheat to feed the world.

We are just an annoying boil on their ass with our limited interest in peps.

It's almost an endless rabit hole. The more you dig in, the more convulted it is. I'm trying to look through mainland vendors for me, and it is like looking at a rain of rice in a haysack. Impossible to move up the chain.
