Sorry in advance, this intro is going to be a lengthy one!

Late 2023, after a hospital stay for pneumonia, I got a heart failure diagnosis. The NHS hands you a management plan loaded with assorted medications (the idea being: simply take these for the rest of your life!). Right on the heels of that came a chronic kidney disease diagnosis.

So I started digging hard, hunting for anything that might genuinely fix what was wrong instead of just keeping it in check. Bodybuilders using bpc-157 for muscle repair caught my attention, and once I'd looked into it more, I decided to try it. To cut a long story short, after an MRI, the next time I saw my heart nurse she almost fell off her chair! You could tell she was second-guessing everything she thought she knew. I kept my self medication to myself; medical professionals don't seem to like it! The bottom line: after having an ejection fraction of 30%, the muscle wall of my heart showed no signs of damage.

I prefer to run cycles of bpc-157, and now I'm also aiming to shed some weight.

I'd really appreciate hearing any thoughts on where I stand and whether there are medical options that could help me further.

Congrats, that's incredible!! Thanks for posting

Has there been any change for the better in your kidney numbers?

Hmm, and did those have any connection to issues with weight? If you want to shed some pounds, look into Tirzepatide and Retatrutide!

@Gargs, thanks. Unfortunately, kidney function hasn't gotten any better. As far as I know, there isn't anything out there that can boost function.

@tangertoulet, nope. Weight isn't impacted by them. Because of the heart condition, I dropped a huge amount of weight very fast. Sadly, the extra pounds are my own doing.

@anduril if it involves tendon, ligament or muscle, go for it!

What an incredible account and a real testament, brother — it's genuinely great to hear personal experiences like this. I'll be praying for your ongoing healing and recovery!
