I've spent the past 20 weeks on reta, and I'm down 40 lb. I'm a 55 year old guy, standing 5'6". These days I weigh 160lb and I feel fantastic. My joints aren't under as much stress now that the weight is off. Working in construction, I've also realized I get around faster, with less discomfort and more energy than I used to have. My wife is roughly 25 lb lighter and she feels fantastic as well.

It's great to come across a forum dedicated to glp1's. I plan to begin reading through the forum to discover what it has to offer. I used to be on a different forum, and someone there shared a link pointing to this place. Thanks once more for welcoming me to your forum, and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! 👍

Hey - you're ahead of me - my loss is just 30 lb (though I've only been at it for 14 wks) ....Nice work !!! And your wife as well !!

So you've had 20 wks on it ? What's your current dose ? And have you hit a stall ? If yes, how did you handle it ?

Hi. Nice work on your weight loss journey. Dropping 40lbs must feel incredible. If you don't mind me asking, how do you like reta and what was your diet like while on reta? Did you deal with any sides in the beginning? I've watched reta do amazing things for a lot of people.

Every week I take 5 mg, and my focus is on plenty of protein plus veggies that are low in calories. Mornings start with a shake made from three scoops of protein, then I have one meal at 6 pm and nothing else. This evening I ate steak, uncooked green beans, cucumber, and 1 cup of rice, plus a small apple.

Great. Something I struggle with during a cut is hitting my protein target each day.

Yeah, I'm aiming for lean meat and fish to hit my target. Also Greek yogurt, specifically the high protein varieties.
