hey all, i signed up here to learn about Reta and peptides overall.

for a number of years ive run 200mg of test each week, and over the past few years my body composition and metabolic efficiency appear to have suffered because of poor eating.

in november i began at 1mg of reta and increased the dose every 4 weeks until reaching 4mg. after a few months at that level, ive been on 5mg for the past few months. i dropped 30 lbs quite fast, but during these last 2-3 months my body composition has shifted very quickly. the scale hasnt budged, yet it feels as though i doubled my test dose. strength is climbing, my delts and traps are surging 24 hours a day, and my stomach keeps getting smaller. people have started to notice and i get comments almost daily.

ive had routine blood tests done and my test levels havent changed (at first i figured a vial had to be overdosed or something). the only explanation i can think of is that insulin resistance and metabolism are coming back to a point they havent been at in a long time.

recently i hit a bench 1rm of 385, something i hadnt done since 2020, even though i havent really been trying any harder in the gym than i was over the last 2 years or so.

i just restocked on more reta and with that order i picked up a kit of BPC/TB to add in. ill be reading more here before i start that and settle on a protocol.

thanks for having me!

That bench is nothing to sneeze at. What age are you, if you don't mind me asking? Once I hit my 40's I had to give up on the heavy lifting, since my joints simply couldn't take it anymore.

The glow blend really helped me with recovery. Doing 2 heavy compound lifts on back-to-back days used to be impossible for me. I will admit that it took time to work up to that point and happened slowly. This is a blend I would definitely want to keep using over the long term.

I’m 37

Great, unfortunately it doesn't get any easier, yet we still have to keep going. Something I've personally discovered to be extremely beneficial is Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF). The studies behind it aren't as robust as I'd like, but for joint pain I've had a lot of success with it. My device is the Micro-Pulse ICES, though I imagine other models would work equally well.

However, you need to wear it for multiple hours without stopping before it does anything. So what I do is position the coils over the painful spot, secure them with an bandage, or tape, and keep it on through the whole night.

When you ran it, was GHK left out? I'm beginning bpc/tb today. My stock is large enough that I'd either need to use it all up or buy GHK separately before I could include it.

To be honest, no — convenience was the main reason I grabbed it, not much else

Glad to have you here. It's definitely notable that your physique shifted while your weight held steady. I'm interested to follow where this goes. Best of luck with the BPC/TB work as well.
