Hi all,
Finding this forum has made me really glad. The volume of useful material available here is huge!
A little about where I'm coming from. I stand 5"11 and I'm in my 50s. When 2022 began, my weight had climbed all the way to 307 pounds and even simple tasks were a struggle. Back in my younger years I was an athlete and stayed very active. So I made up my mind to change my lifestyle, adopting a low carb/keto way of eating plus an active routine (walking, biking, and gym workouts), and it worked extremely well. Come summer 2023, I was down at 202 pounds and quite muscular. Now, a few years on, roughly 35-40 pounds have come back. One factor was that I cut back on activity because of significant injuries that required 9 months of rehab, and another was that I started eating carbs more often again.
Several times I've attempted to get back onto my keto plan, and each attempt has failed. Peptides struck me as something that could help me get back on track and maybe reach a sub 200 weight this time. Given my height and muscular build, I figure 185 is the weight I should aim for.
Is there anyone here who has been through something similar and can suggest which peptides, if any, would be most useful? Reta appears to get a lot of praise, and I was leaning toward trying that route.
Thank you for any feedback you can give.
